Sunday, June 15, 2008 - Regatta and family cookout
Since it’s debut in 1995, the Annual Auction and Regatta to benefit Hospice of the North Shore (HNS) has raised almost $2 million to support the HNS mission and has become one of the North Shore’s most popular special events with more than 500 people attending the weekend-long festivities.
HNS extends it deepest appreciation to our corporate and individual sponsors, whose generosity help make the Regatta events possible. Learn more about this year's sponsors.
This year’s Regatta will be held at the Corinthian Yacht Club in Marblehead. The festivities kick off on Friday evening, June 13 with a harbor-side buffet followed by a truly spectacular auction.
Auction highlights include:
- Miniature sculpture by acclaimed artist, Beverly Seamans
- Sail in the HNS Regatta on the Valiant
- Deluxe Red Sox package – meet Big Papi, attend batting practice and much more
- Use of award-winning Orcas Island vacation home in the San Juan Islands off the coast of Seattle
On Sunday, June 15, the HNS Regatta, a Mass Bay PHRF qualifying race, will attract skippers and crews from throughout New England. The race is followed by our annual Father's Day barbecue for skippers, crews and their families and friends. Download registration form
