Over five thousand walkers came with their family members, friends and classmates to share smiles, laughter, hugs and tears at the 24th Annual Walk for Hospice of the North Shore & Greater Boston on Sunday, October 16. Teams united to walk the 3- mile route, which took place on the campus and surrounding neighborhoods of St. John’s Preparatory School in Danvers.
Special thanks to this year’s co-chairs, Don Kelley, President of Wayside Trailers of Peabody and Ronna Thur Winer of Danvers along with this year’s sponsors including NMTW Community Credit Union, Albrecht Auto Group - Infiniti Motors, Henry's, Electric Insurance, North Shore 104.9 FM, North Shore Medical Center and People's United Bank.for making this event such a success.
Walk donations support Hospice of the North Shore & Greater Boston's mission to provide end of life care and support to terminally ill patients and their families in 87 communities on the North Shore and Greater Boston Area and at the Kaplan Family Hospice House in Danvers.
